These are without a doubt the easiest way to transfer your pet's tags from one collar to the next! Just pull the pin-ring on the side to release the hinged portion and clip onto the collar. The tags go on the split-ring on the sealed bottom portion. How secure is this? VERY! It is made from 316 stainless steel (saltwater resistance grade!) and will not open by accident. We have used these on our puppies for 4 years and have our original ones and they look great! The main part of the tag holder is 1-3/8" long, if you include the ring for the tags, 1-3/4". If you have multiple collars for your puppy and don't like to take a lot of time to keep changing the tags over, this is perfect for you! If you need more collars to get really good use out of it, you came to the right place for that too :-)
